RH318 Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization
Course Summary
Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RH318) is an extensive hands-on training course that explores the virtualization features of Red Hat Enterprise linux and the advanced Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization platform. Students acquire the skills and knowledge to deploy and centrally manage virtual servers in the enterprise.
Does not include EX318 exam. Students who wish to obtain the Red Hat Certified Vitualization Administrator credential may like to consider booking the RH318 course and exam bundle.

- Overview of Red Hat Enterprise Linux virtualization with kernel-based virtual machine (KVM)
- Configuring datacenters, host clusters, and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager
- Installing and upgrading Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization hypervisor
- Configuring data, ISO, and export storage domains
- Managing virtual servers and desktops
- Managing snapshots and templates
- Managing users and desktop pools
- Accessing the user portal
- Exporting and importing virtual machines
- Search bar and tags
- Monitoring tools and log collector
Audience
- Experienced Linux system administrators responsible for managing enterprise servers who are interested in learning how to manage large numbers of servers or virtual machines using Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization.
Prerequisites
- RH133 Red Hat Linux System Administration or equivalent experience with Linux
- System administration experience on Microsoft Windows® operating systems beneficial, but is not necessary for this course.
